Meet the Artist

Shannon Nicole

Georgia-born and South Carolina–raised, Shannon studied art, education, psychology, and business at USC Upstate before earning her Master of Education in Art Education from Converse University.

I believe art is not performance, but participation.
To create is to slow down enough to see what is already there.

In a culture that rewards performance and constant motion, I am drawn to slower rhythms, to open terrain, shifting light, and the power of surrender. The landscapes I paint and the glass I shape are less about representation and more about reflection, reminders that quiet strength often forms unseen.

My background as an educator continues to shape the way I approach process, with curiosity, patience, and reverence for growth. Above all, my faith in Jesus Christ continues to anchor both my life and my work.
